Philosophy of Studio Pilates
The Pilates method is probably the most effective system I know of to help my clients learn this technique for developing a strong and healthy body. I teach it to them according to strict rules, with discipline and attention to detail. While performing an exercise, I make them aware of each movement, I guide them, I follow them closely. I make them understand that the more they give of themselves, drawing on their mental strength, the more they will be able to progress towards a better state of well-being, which is ultimately the goal.
As part of my teaching, I always link Pilates sessions to everyday life because the success of the method depends on this. When Pilates enthusiasts in Geneva learn more about themselves, they discover that their bodies can quickly evolve towards a harmonious shape. It is a great pleasure for me to be able to assist in this process and witness the results achieved by my clients, who in turn also embrace this philosophical approach to the connection between body and mind.

When people come to me, I understand that they hope to get rid of their pain or discomfort and want to feel better. But because the Pilates method is much more than just exercises, they don’t expect the intensity of the commitment that will be required of them. The first few sessions are therefore crucial for the rest of the programme, because as soon as their bodies start to respond and their daily activities become easier, my clients discover that Pilates classes are a necessary part of their lives.
Mastering the fundamentals, both mentally and physically, means that you have conquered the Pilates method and that the process of constantly pushing your limits has begun, like a perpetual motion machine. This is how I view my own life.
